What is the Failover feature?

In the rare event of an interruption to your VOIPo service or an Internet or power outage, Failover allows you to forward your incoming calls to either your voicemail or an alternate number. To set up this feature follow the directions provided below:
  1. Log in to your VOIPo vPanel Account Management Tool
  2. Click the "Features" tab
  3. In the "Failover" field select the drop down menu and select either "Voicemail" or "Phone Number"
  4. If you select "Phone Number," in the field titled "Failover Forward Number" enter the number you wish to forward your VOIPo calls to
Now when your experience service interruption, your calls will either be forwarded straight to your voicemail or forwarded to the alternate number you provided.
